FAQ (FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS):

  • Weather? May is one of my favourite months here. Not too hot, but still hot enough to swim. Cooler mornings, 30ºC midday, no clouds and statistically no rain at all.

  • Is it safe with the animals so close? Yes, The Hide is protected by highly experienced, qualified wildlife guides.

  • Is there malaria? Please consult your GP and follow their guidelines. I would recommend taking an anti-malarial drug/ malarone to be safe.

  • Victoria Falls / Chobe day trip in Botswana / Livingstone day trip to Zambia? I am happy to recommend options for a visit before or after the retreat

  • I want to go on further safaris/exploration/stay longer after this retreat, can you help arrange? Yes, happy to.
